Both apps approach the issues in different ways with Juice Defender looking to automatically shut off specific services and apps to save battery life.

Juice Defender has three versions Free, Pro and Ultimate and depending on your needs you will probably want at least the pro version to get the best battery saving possible.

Personally I still prefer Battery Saver for my needs it’s perfect although I can see a lot of value in using Juice Defender for other scenarios.
