Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sell out online

IF you were hoping Santa would bring you a nice shiny new Xbox One or PlayStation 4 for Christmas then you’d better hope he’s already got it safely in his sack because Amazon and other online suppliers have sold out.
Santa now says he can’t do any more internet orders for the home entertainment hubs until after Christmas. They’ve sold out all over the world, in all 13 countries where they were released!
But if you are thinking about ordering one for yourself, the Xbox One, from Microsoft weighs in at £429 while Sony’s PlayStation 4 is a lighter £349.
Some enterprising folk who were able to get hold of the devices are now cashing-in by selling them on eBay at hiked up prices of up to £699 for the Xbox One and an eye watering £850 for the PlayStation 4.
But beware, with these boxes in such short supply if you see anyone advertising them online just make sure that it’s not a rogue retail site which takes your money and then shuts down.
If you’re lucky, and you got a pre-order in with the High Street, you might be able to get a console from the GAME chain which is trying to source more stock in the next couple of weeks.
Our in-depth review of the Xbox One
O2 have had a delivery of the Xbox but they’re likely to sell like the proverbial hot cakes, or should that be hot mincepies?
If you are lucky enough to find an Xbox or PlayStation 4 in your Christmas stocking (and it will need to be a large stocking) then you’ll be able to play Dead Rising 3 and Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One and Killzone Shadowfall on the PS4.
We’ve done an in depth review of the Xbox One on YouTube so have a look and see what you think. This is our live broadcast showing off the Xbox One
