Samsung has pushed a fix for the Galaxy S6 Battery Drain bug many people have encountered with the Galaxy S6.

To install the update head into the Play Store and look in your installed app list for the Samsung Push services app and run the update.

We have noticed a 10 – 15% improvement in battery drain over night making this a worthy update to your Galaxy S6.

More power to Samsung in getting these updates out via third arty channels rather than relying on firmware.

Hamster Golf Android provides hours of golfing fun with cute graphics and over the top gameplay that just screams quality.

We were incredibly impressed with the variety of gameplay on offer and how well the game hangs together as both a physics-based shooter and as a golf game.

Each level gets more and more difficult with new obstacles and crazy over the top creatures who are desperate to stop your hamster from getting to the hole.

Putting a hamster is just as difficult as putting the ball in real life, and it will require some practice before you get the hang of this game. Overall Hamster Golf provides a great experience with an excellent challenge and just the right learning curve

Space battles are among the best Android games out there so we were chuffed to see that Rebel Box has come up with Galactic Run.

This is a 63p game from the Play Store, with gameplay in the third person, but you get a lot of entertainment for your money. There are three ships with bonuses, seven pilots and a real bonanza of battles.

It’s an all-round game with top down shooting, vertical mayhem and survival gameplay.

You don’t have to play on your phone either, because Galactic Run has also been optimised for tablets which is great as phones can be a bit small when you have a lot of enemies to deal with.

The better you get, the further out into space you journey and if you warp to far-off galaxies you can boost your score three-fold.

You use the accelerometer to move and hit the screen to fire. As you level up, it does get more difficult, the devs say the only guarantee is death. Gulp!!!

But before you reach wipeout you can get a whole arsenal of useful weapons and pit your skills against other players to see who can get the highest score.

Rebel Box are the devs of that other compulsive game Supermarket Scramble so if you survive the space ordeal, you might want to check that one out next.

The HD graphics are console quality and the sound quality is good too. It costs £2.29 from the Play Store, but that’s a small price for a game that has such fantastic visual appeal and engrossing game play.

Tiny Troopers Android is big on fun in this third person shooter campaign.
The gameplay is epic with military strategy helping you through the warzones.

Outstanding 3D visuals make for a very attractive game and the various missions will hold your attention while you get to grips with the enemy.

The fast-paced Android gameplay, which is a little bit reminiscent of Cannon Fodder, is touch controlled and easy to get to grips with.

The idea is that you control tiny troopers while they detonate buildings to save civilians. You’re taking part in the troopers’ three-chapter story as you complete the missions.

As you complete more levels and upgrade your weapons, your troops improve their skills and earn big rewards.

Chillingo have done a great job with this Android game, it’s free so every reason to download it from the Play Store and give it a go. Just make sure you have plenty of time because it is quite addictive!

Our Blood and Glory review played on the Samsung Galaxy S3 not a bad game reminds me of Blood and Sand crossed with Infinity Blade.

Blood and Glory is a interesting finger swiping game that will test your reflexes as you battle through arenas, its all very gladiator and you feel epic in Blood and Glory.

Even though Blood and Glory has In app purchases their not too in your way while you play and the nag screens arnt that naggy.

All in all Blood and Glory makes for a fun pick up and play title.

Blood and Glory is another successful title from the Glu Mobile stable.

This is your chance to be a Roman gladiator, just like the olden days you get the chance to decimate your rivals in a fight to the death in front of cheering crowds.

Glu Mobile have done themselves proud with this one, a bit like an Infinity Blade experience, you can hear the clash of metal as the gladiators bring all the drama of ancient times to the modern era.

However, this is one for the adults, not suitable for younger people as it’s pretty gory.

The game play is pacey and the graphics are visually stunning. The frame rate is pretty good too.

The warrior action is mostly swipe and slash, with an impressive amount of gore surrounding the loser. Timing is everything, dodging attacks is the best way to survive the onslaught.

Whichever fight style you choose, you can get an arsenal of weapons to wipe your rival out in quick order.

Along the way you complete special attacks and combos in your quest for victory. You’ll be fighting for currency and looking to upgrade your kit and abilities.

If you’re a real champ you can earn Invictus medals by winning tournaments. A few tips, if you’re not looking like the outright winner early on, restart the bout because your health doesn’t regenerate during a tournament and if you only just overcome your rival then that might count against you in later rounds.

Get in first with a special attack after a combo to put one over on your rival.

There’s not much in the way of scenery to look at while you’re in battle, it’s either an amphitheatre, arena or Colosseum, repeat as necessary!

This might be one for you if you like Street Fighter 4 on the console or PC.

Blood and Glory is up on the Play Store now, free to play but you can pay real money for some extra items to make the game more challenging. There are a few nag screens, but not so many that they’ll spoil your enjoyment of the game. If you get stuck, just Google for some cheats on the internet.
