Battlefield Hardline Beta Review PC Xbox One PS4 60fps

Battlefield Hardline Beta Review PC Xbox One PS4 – time to check out Battlefield Hardline’s latest beta.

As noted during the first beta, Battlefield Hardline still isn’t feeling like anything more than an expansion pack, albeit one that recreates a lot of the COD vibe inside the Battlefield 4 engine.

The new Battlefield Hardline game modes are interesting but quickly start to feel boring the more you play them. It’s a game that seems to struggle with its own identity.

The Battlefield Hardline engine feels long in the tooth so much so It’s hard to describe these visuals as AAA in 2015. It feels more like a last gen console port than anything built for next gen.

Call of Duty Heroes Review Android

Call of Duty Heroes Review Android & IOS – looks like its time for Call of Duty Heroes to launch across Android and IOS.

Call of Duty Heroes takes the familiar class of clans formula and wraps it in the COD franchise like a big snugly glove… that wants your money!

Build your Call of Duty base, defend and attack your opponents while using Heroes from the Call of Duty stable like Price at Ghost.

Call of Duty Heroes is loaded with in-app purchases but there’s enough fun to be had here without ever putting your hand in your wallet.

Destiny problems and failures

Destiny problems and failures – while Destiny is a great game, its rough edges shine brightly, so let’s discuss them.

Warning this Destiny problems and failures video contains footage from late in the first half of the game.

Destiny’s biggest issue is the terrible voice over work that causes the dialogue to feel bland and uninteresting. It literally feels like the voice actors were reading from cue cards and the engineers used the first take they laid down.

Destiny’s story is central to the reason to continue playing and with such flat voice work it really takes any urgency out of the missions you are going on.

Mission design in Destiny is also bland and uninteresting. Once you have played a few it’s rinse, repeat over and over again.

Stretches of missions in Destiny involve corridors with nothing to shoot leading to a big room with wave after wave of enemies. It’s weak game design not even hitting the level of immersion of a Battlefield single player campaign, let alone COD or Wolfenstein.

Multiplayer maps feel too big for the number of players they allow leading to a lot of walking trying to find something to kill, this is especially pronounced in Deathmatch and 3v3 matches.

Destiny is a fine game but its rough edges shine brightly, a little too brightly imo.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Opinion

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Opinion. So, with the full reveal for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare done, what do we think of what they are offering gamers this November?

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare certainly looks like it will hit the mark and then some, with a mix of MMO style progression and gear and the new vertical movement it sure looks like a whole new way to play COD and about time too.

Modern Combat 5 first look review

Modern Combat 5 first look review. So Gameloft have shoved Modern Combat 5 out the door and it’s not all rosy.

Graphics are improved but the game has taken a massive step backwards with its control system that feels laggy especially on controllers. Multiplayer is likewise a laggy mess in Modern Combat 5.

Modern Combat 5’s 4 classes add a nice splash of variety and the scripted action sequences would feel right at home in COD.

However, it’s hard not to feel Gameloft rushed an unfinished and buggy game out the door, there really is no excuse for such poor control response either using touch controls or a controller.

Battlefield Hardline delayed what’s the real reason?

Battlefield Hardline delayed by EA to allow more time to polish Battlefield Hardline, or were Electronic Arts scared off by COD and Destiny’s pre-order numbers?

It seems likely that EA got cold feet – realising that with three shooters in the market so close together and with the relative strength of the competition – EA weren’t going to see big sales numbers.
