Nexus 5 Spigen Slim Armor case review – This is a truly excellent Nexus 5 case from Spigen. This particular case provides anti-shock protection as well as a hard outer shell which is excellent if you want to keep your Nexus 5 in tiptop condition. Did you know that a case that doesn’t add shock protection is probably not much better than wrapping your device in a paper bag?
The shock of the device hitting the ground in a case with no anti-shock means that all of the force of hitting concrete is transferred through the case and into your Nexus 5 potentially cracking the screen.
With the Slim Armor case with anti-shock absorption removes some of that energy from the impact, allowing the case to take the brunt of the force, not your smartphone.
The in the hand feel of this case is truly excellent and one of the things I found remarkable in many respects is it almost mimics the feel of the Nexus 5 so it’s almost like you don’t have a case on.
The one downside is the buttons on the case don’t quite have the tactile feedback that we could potentially have expected from this smartphone case. However it is a minor quibble in what is otherwise a truly excellent way to protect your Nexus 5 We love the Nexus 5 Spigen Slim Armor Case.
