Windows 10 is the new name for Windows 9 – so it’s official Microsoft Windows 10 is the next OS release in the Windows series.

Bit gobsmacked they would skip a number, very odd but at least it will get people talking about Windows 10.

It’s possible that the number 9 is bad luck in some cultures so they skipped to 10 to avoid any issues around the world.

Windows 10 will have a stack of new features such as the return of the improves start menu and virtualisation.

We will know more about Windows 10 in the next few hours but for now best get used to two digits for Windows naming from now on. ****
