Rise of Glory Android Review on Samsung Galaxy S3

Here at Androidizen we love airplane games so we were thrilled to see Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory was a free download from the Google Play Store.

There##Q##s nothing the Android tablet or phone likes better than a fast moving flight game and this one from Namco Networks, the devs of PAC-MAN is a little gem.

You can get a fuller version, by paying $2.99, that##Q##s about £1.50 in UK dosh, but you get enough in the free version to see if you like it before you shell out for the mega edition.

Basically, the storyline is that you##Q##re a First World War flying ace and you take to the skies in what is, admittedly, a bit of an old boneshaker. However, once airborne you take on the grace of an eagle as you fly various missions blasting enemies out of the skies.

Fly solo, or rope in up to eight pals to take part in real time battles together.

Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory uses accelerometer and touch screen controls and allows you to perform all sorts of death defying stunts as well as battling forces on the ground.

Once you##Q##ve got your skills up to the mark you can invest in the paid version and create your own missions or use the custom built ones which have 100 dogfights already loaded.

The full version also has 18 detailed maps with challenging terrain including mountainous scenery.
