GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition Review

GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition Review. I picked up a new video camera, the Hero 3 Black Edition while I was on holiday and thought you might like to know my thoughts and see some sample footage.
The GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition is a very versatile wearable camera system that can shoot in Super HD all the way down to WVGA. With a range of frame rates including the excellent 1080p/60 and 720p/120 you can capture even the smallest slice of time with ease.
For me, it’s all about getting my hands free and keeping the camera out of the way so I can capture what’s happening around me without distracting people with a camera in the face.
The GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition has wifi support allowing you to control the camera with the included dongle or with your Android device. The GoPro Android app is fantastic and allows for complete control over the Hero 3 Black Edition.
You can even use it to view recorded videos on the Hero 3 Black Edition or preview the live feed from the cam before triggering the record function.
GoPro have even released PC and Mac software that allows you to edit and colour grade your Hero 3 Black Edition footage, removing fish eye from the wide footage and allowing you to slow down your footage. Transcoding allows you to export all your footage into uncompressed avi at the spec shot so if you want to import your 720p/120fps footage into another editing system you can.
I really love my GoPro and can’t wait to do more with it.
