Mini Dash Android physics platformer

Here’s a smashing game for the whole family to enjoy – Mini Dash, a high octane cartoon-style romp through entertaining scenery with lots of laughs along the way.

A platformer, it has lots of retro action that has been delighting people who’ve bought it from the Google Play Store as well as reviewers. It’s a really fun physics-type game with lots to keep your interest.

The controls are fairly simple, you’re in charge of Mini Dash and you use the left right and jump controls to get where you want to go. There are lots of new levels and basically you just have to find the exit, avoiding the obstacles littering your path. If you collect the mushrooms it will enable you to buy new characters, unlocks and power-ups.

You can start with an easy mode and then move on to the harder one when you’ve mastered the game. There are three worlds altogether and loads of challenges all wrapped up in the glorious animation. The sound track is good too, very catchy and matches the graphics well.

The gameplay is butter smooth and the framerate is also excellent and the devs PlayCreek have listened to feedback and fixed an accelerometer bug on some devices. They pledge to read all comments left on the Google Play Store and to take heed of anything that needs fixing.

Mini Dash reminds us of some of the Amiga arcade-type games of old, it’s ideal to get up on your smartphone when you have a spare five minutes and want to pass some time cracking another mission.

PlayCreek also make Death Worm and Magic Wingdom so the game comes from a good source. You can buy Mini Dash for £1.28 or you can get the free version to try it out before investing your cash.

It installs on Android 2.2 and up and the size is 28m. But be warned – Mini Dash is very, very addictive.
