Elite Dangerous drops Offline Single Player. So it seems not all is well with Elite Dangerous backers, many of whom thought they were getting a fully offline version of Elite Dangerous as well as the online aspect.

Now it seems Elite Dangerous developers have taken the decision to require an internet connection even with the single player game.
