Ashes of the Singularity on PC had all the promise but falls short, not much to say other than this is not the RTS you are probably looking for. Lacks depth and has plenty of performance problems…also never really lives up to the marketing hype of 1000’s of units on screen.. It’s nice to have a new RTS however it’s even nicer to have an RTS that lives up to the promise.. the AI especially is dump as a rock or overly aggressive.

Looks like Google is done with robots as they look to sell Boston Dynamics, the central company working on their robotics. Sad day when Google gives up on an idea and I’m sure they will start to spin this as a positive. It’s really not, it’s a multi-billion dollar fiasco that should never have been allowed to happen.

PlayStation VR stable 60fps games or Sony won’t allow it. If you can’t do 60fps on the PS4, your game will not pass Sony certification. That’s the take away for Playstation VR from GDC. Rightly so. Sony says any technical issues with frame-rate or tracking will be flagged as a fail and developers will have to fix and resubmit if they want to release on Sony’s PlayStation VR hardware.

Taking a first look at Paragon, Epic’s new MOBA for PC and PS4. Paragon is NOT PAY2WIN You can’t buy cards for cash! Paragon is Epic’s first foray into an area you would have thought natural for them. This is a third person MOBA with 5 players per team, 2 teams, 3 lanes, jungle and awesome heroes. Overall Paragon is fun with nice graphics, a stable frame rate and just enough game mechanics to keep things interesting.
