Twitch kills music, sale to Google now likely. And it came to pass that Twitch got all worried about copyright music when they hadn’t given two hoots for years.

Twitch has announced a new music ID system for archived videos that will mute 30 minutes of audio if any matches are found.

Many fans and streamers are up in arms and universally across the web those angry punters outnumber those that don’t care by a wide margin.

It now looks likely that Google is going to buy Twitch but first Twitch needs to get with the copyright program so Google isn’t sued the second the ink dries. ****
