Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag PlayStation 4 Review – Androidizen

Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag a new game from Ubisoft that places you in the heart of Pirates in Black Flag. It is an Assassins Creed game and so it continues the story of Assassins Creed 3 although this is a prequel to those events.

We join Edward Conway father to Connor Conway from the third game, a boy from Swansea who gets caught up in a bit of a mess having killed an assassin and posed as him. He’s now been mistaken for a member of the Templars and accidentally reveals the location of all of the assassin camps.

Now this starts off a chain reaction which throws Edward right in the middle of pirates escapade along with well-known characters like Blackbeard.

The graphics in this game are really top-notch, creating the most lush and beautiful world you have ever seen. Think of this as like Grand Theft Auto but with pirate ships on the high seas. It really is incredible how much detail is packed in here.

The story itself is by the numbers but very well executed and you do feel yourself getting invested in the story which is absolutely great. The assassin’s element to this game feels a little bit superfluous here. A game about pirates and swashbuckling would have been absolutely fine with me.

Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag really is a title you have to play to fully understand quite how wonderful it is. I would fully recommend this game to anyone who has a PlayStation or Xbox One or PC, it really is a game to show off what your system can do. ****

Tegra K1 Nvidia Breaking News – Androidizen

Tegra K1 has been announced and it looks like Nvidia may have pulled off a miracle with the Tegra K1 . This new Kepler based SOC offers incredible power efficiency on paper combined with raw performance numbers that beat the Xbox One and PS3 on paper at least.

Tegra K1 could be the most significant leap forward in mobile GPU parts in a decade and puts Nvidia at the front of the performance pack if their numbers are accurate.

We can’t wait to see which OEM’s take on the Tegra K1 in 2014 and beyond.

PlayStation 4 Remote Play with PS Vita review – Androidizen

PlayStation 4 Remote Play with PS Vita – in this review we take a look at PS Vita Remote Play using PlayStation 4 to stream KillZone: Shadowfall and Resogun directly to the Vita over local Wifi. See PS4 games: http://goo.gl/gK3Zab

See PlayStation 4 products: http://goo.gl/Nr6bm3 or visit Our Online Store: http://goo.gl/ccrsyU

It works incredibly well and is a feather in the cap of the PS4. It works well with zero lag. There is a slight softening of the image on the PS Vita due to its lower resolution but all-in-all it’s a very impressive achievement for the PlayStation 4.

Sadly we were unable to get Remote Play working over the internet at a friend’s house. This is probably due to ports needing opening on the routers. We will keep experimenting with that side of the PlayStation 4 / PS Vita remote play functionality.

Over local wifi setup is a snap and it works flawlessly, note though only games can be streamed to the PSVita. If you try Netflix on BBC iPlayer you will be prevented due to copyright restrictions, which is a shame IMO.

If you have a PlayStation 4 Sony have now given you a very good reason to own a PS Vita and vice versa. ****
